What to Bring on your trip

Wear:
Long sleeve shirts
Long trousers
Shorts
Swimming costume in case you cant do without
Socks preferably cotton
Comfortable walking boots (water proof if possible) plus open shoes
Fleece
Hat
T-shirts
Sunglasses
A day pack for small essentials like camera, hut, water, cookies etc

Field equipment:
Binoculars
Camera (plus more than enough film rolls or digital storage cards)
Telescope and Tripod for birders. Birdwatching East Africa provides one

  Q. How far in advance should I book my safari?

A.
It is better to book as far in advance as possible to ensure availability at the time you wish to travel (4-6 months) or even one year , especially during the high / peak season –June - October and during Christmas and New Year season.
