2 Day Rwanda Birding Tour

Day 1: Kigali – Mashoza Forest - Akagera National Park

Leave Kigali at 5:30am heading to Akagera National Park via a short enroute birding at Mashoza Forest reaching the Akagera National Park for lunch. Have an afternoon birding along Mountain Circuit where we may see many bird species including and if lucky, the rare Red-faced Barbet. Big game ma include Giraffe, Buffaloes, Zebra, Impala, Topi, etc.

Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.

Day 2: Akagera National Park- Kigali

After an early morning breakfast birding and game drive in the park via Muhana toward Kirara plain where we can easily see all mammals of the park including  Hypo, Buffaloes, Giraffe, Zebra, etc. and stunning species of birds including Saddle-billed Stock, Black-belled Bustard. Lunch in the park and in the afternoon leaving for Kigali to be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport.

  • Transport with exclusive use of the safari van.
  • Pick up and drop off on arrival and departure at the airport.
  • Fullboard accommodation and an extra lunch
  • -Services of an English speaking safari guide.
  • Parks, reserve and conservation areas entry fee including tracking permit
