If Africa has countries that are rich is avian diversity, then Uganda is one of them with over 1000 species all well placed in great diversity of habitats including lowlands and highlands forests, extensive wetlands, savannahs among the White Nile, Gorillas, Rwenzori Mountain Ranges. Most important, not forgetting the 29 of the 43 species of Albertine Rift endemics are in Uganda.

Birding in Uganda is great combined with the Gorilla tracking that may take half an hour to several hours in the field and though may need some sort of fitness is always a most rewarding wildlife encounter and lingers in one’s finger tips the rest of his/her life.

We offer birding from a few days to several weeks which may includes extension to Kenya or Rwanda.
